    New App for Sprinters & Cargo Vans

    I did check the rates. 500 miles would pay $602 no mention of fuel surcharge, close to what I'm getting now Sent from my STV100-3 using Tapatalk

    Fool me once.....April is here

    After reading that transit list, I probably shouldn't have taken myself out of service because my drivebelt fell off (45 min in the dark, at the side of the road, in a snowstorm lying in an icy salty puddle while saltwater dripped in my eyes and the big rigs coated my body with fresh slush) Man...

    Rates

    Translation: every company will have different rates. Unless the company pays a flat rate to the driver, every individual order can have a different rate too (somewhere between what the customer wants to pay and what the company can get away charging)

    New App for Sprinters & Cargo Vans

    I truly don't understand. No I don't think it's a conflict of interest (mostly because I believe people should be able to do what they want) Most of 12 years, I've been with the same carrier. Yes I would throw them under the bus in a tenth of a second if it benefits me (as they would do, and...

    DOT Inspection

    Curious, is it required? In Ontario we have an MTO inspection, where you get to place an ugly yellow sticker on your van. Haven't done it in 12 years, as under 10k aren't required to. However they won't say no if you ask for one

    Another sign we don't have long

    Waymo, the closest to Level 5, is still full steam ahead, although others have voluntarily or been forced to halt testing. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you hate working) rather than slow things down, it may just change the winner of the race to full automation. I don't think these systems...

    Cargo Van Best Van to Buy

    Since we were all reminiscing, how about the Ford E350 with the 7.3 diesel? 1 million miles and I touched neither the engine nor transmission, 21 mpg loaded, poor van had 3 trans flushes and maybe 50 oil changes for that mileage lol (good thing it took 16 quarts) Closest mentally I've got to an...

    /// / No thermostst for a year....How bad is that on engine ? ////

    It's $4000. Make your best deal from that price. If it satisfies everything else, equipment, condition, accessories; and you are comfortable with the engine replacement / rebuild IF it becomes necessary, it will probably last far longer than it should. I only buy "special" vehicles with...
