    Carrier of choice

Finding a good fit is key. That's one of the reasons I'm looking for a different pasture. I've been with this carrier for 26 years and lately we seem to have different goals, where before we were both aiming at the same target, now it' s as if we're on opposing teams.

    Carrier of choice

I remember 20+ years ago, being told the same thing. " Don't get in this business, it's not what it used to be"( this business being hauling HHGs) Obviously, I didn't listen and it has been a good career until recently, oh wait, I'm sounding like them!

    Carrier of choice

OK, so I have been doing my research on expediting, spoke with a few carriers, and read A LOT here. Recruiters will tell you the good, leave out the bad and that can get ugly. Everyone here seems to give honest opinions and have fun while giving said opinions. One question keeps coming to mind...

    Landstar question

Good to know. My current carrier requires inspections every 180 days @ $75-100 each time. No age limit here either.

    Healty alternatives

Oh, and if you do not grow a garden for fresh vegetables, you can always support your local farmer's market and home can with their fresh vegetables

    Healty alternatives

There are a lot more low sodium options available now. If you do have to buy can vegetables, you can rinse them first, that will remove some of the excess sodium as well.

    Healty alternatives

Absolutely. Get creative and consider what you eat before and not just regret it after.

Middle of No Where Or Nothing like Trucking

It was a little warm driving north in West Texas in the afternoon, but still a nice drive. When I leave Midland,TX tomorrow, it'll be another good trip. Until I hit Dallas.
