    Education - Continuation

We read read read about trucking, corporations and staying in touch with the business world. We are both interested in taking some on line courses and wondered if anyone else has tried this? It seems like the more you learn the more you want to learn.

Do you take the time to continue your education in

RE: Do you take the time to continue your educatio I think it will be really beneficial to anyone to know a second language. How are you taking Spanish lessons in the truck? What kind of program are you using? Your pictures are great and the trip looks like a fun adventure. It would be nice...

    Rice Cooker

Very good idea!! I bet it will not take a month to figure out if you like it or not. I know that as a married couple you have to learn to have disagreements in a different manner then you would if you where at home. Sometimes you just have to go to the sleeper and chill for a little bit. I...

    Custom Truck Mattress....

Hi Randy and Patty We had a great time exchanging stories with you also. We finally made it out of Atlanta in the afternoon and are sitting in Charlotte. Did go far!! We have also heard that the nicer dual control air mattresses can be custom made for the truck. They are a little pricey though.

    Rice Cooker

outwardbound 2, I had to laugh about only hauling one skid. Bob does try to remind me once in awhile that we should watch our weight. That is also when I remind him we have an extra axle. We do have a 96" sleeper that is really nice and we enjoy the comfort. We try to stay out a long time...

    BigDog

We are sitting in Temple GA waiting for a load and where lucky enough to park next to Bigdog and his wife. What a nice couple with a very nice looking truck. We also hope we are around next time they have a slight miscalculation on who's turn it is to keep track of their keys!

    Rice Cooker

You are right we are spoiled and the best part is we know it! The rice cooker is not 12 volt and Bob has said it really does not hit the batteries to bad. We have an inverter and a generator so I only buy electical appliances.

    Rice Cooker

We have a electric rice cooker in our truck and have found that it is also great as a spaghetti cooker. The eclectic rice cooker heats the water a lot faster then a microwave does. We have found our rice cooker will have just as many uses as the crock pot. Now we need something for our garlic...

    Initial Impression of Air-Tabs

Rex, Thanks for the information. I will be ordering our Air Tabs next week and hope by the Expo to have a report on them. I will be adding 3 too boxes to the truck next time we are at home and the air tabs so I should be able to have a pretty good idea on how the air tabs change our fuel...

    Initial Impression of Air-Tabs

Rex, Thanks for the update on fuel. I also felt that helping the stability of the truck would improve the fuel mileage. With fuel prices going up everyday anything we can do to help our fuel mileage will affect our bottom line. Where they pretty easy to install? We are planning on being at...

I have heard that when you purchase a new truck you can buy Gap insurance are no depreciation insurance for the first two years of vehicle. I believe these people have the policy through OOIDA. I don't know what is costs. I imagine it is not cheap. I have also called our house insurance to...
