    Requirements for Fed Ex CC

This is one of the hardest questions to answer in Expediting as if I can drive 30 miles in a week and clear $3000.00 I am fine with that. In Expediting we need a hobby to keep our minds working while sitting as well as driving. I would talk to a recruiter about the requirements as they...

    Regrooving Tires

I have to wonder if re-grooving commercial tires would lead to them breaking down or wearing down faster? We have toured a bandag facility in Saint Louis and one of the items that was discussed was how much it costs the company to have a tire returned. We had our lift axle tires retreaded and...

    RIP, little buddy

Cheri I was very saddened to hear of your loss. We have just went through this and our hearts are still very heavy. A truck pet is a very special friend indeed and their passing is a huge chunk out of your life and out of the truck.

    Caffee's Cascadia

The decision on the front it was made before we ordered the truck on our own research Phil. Bob made the decision based on his background as a mechanic. The more moving parts you have the more you have to maintain. For example on our old truck we had it aligned soon after we bought it, our...

    Sleeping in the top bunk

Old wives tail.... There are not any rules saying that we cannot sleep in the top bunk going down the road. Proper restraints are needed in the bottom bunk as well as the top bunk for safety reasons.

We have a 13600 spring set under our front end to also help in the ride department, the air ride fronts, from what we have heard, have some issues with keeping alignment true. Our dealer assured us air ride was not the best option for our our specs and application.

    Caffee's Cascadia

There is a LOT of places that are selling bulk DEF at the fuel areas. As long as we can get over 200 MPG and we have a 23 gallon tank we should never have to buy DEF in a box.

    OOIDA Forum

OOIDA can sometimes be like the police when something goes wrong in trucking the first thing that happens is OOIDA is called to help out with a problem. They are there when we need them and from what I have seen they bend over backwards to help drivers.

    Caffee's Cascadia

We have no intention of buy DEF in jugs as there are many places selling fluid. This site should help you Home - discover Diesel Exhaust Fluid Your price of DEF is astronomical and as I see it our fuel costs need to go down and that includes DEF costs. This blog of Henry's is really pretty...

Yes it is Bolt on the sleeper. Don Bentz is a hands on guy and I have pictures of him cutting the back out of the Cascadia when it was a day cab. Don also gave us a tour of the sleeper being built from the metal frame, through how the cabinets are installed, how the sleeper is insulated, how...

The OOIDA forum is only open to OOIDA members. If you use one of the members numbers you can join OOIDA for $25.00. I have posted on the forums and they are what they are. I would not join OOIDA for the forums but there are a whole lot of other reasons to join OODIA.

    Spreadsheet learning

Thanks for all of the links to understanding spreadsheets. I have found that spreadsheets are an integral part of our business and I rely on them for information about out business as well as what is going on with our truck. I have one spreadsheet I use for our fuel mileage and when our MPG...

TA Ontario Ca, New Rules and fees

The Ultra One Card has coupons and you would need to print the coupon at the Kiosk. From what Pete told me there were several TA's that participated and that a fuel ticket from another TA will work. What do the local store managers need to know? The stores have not changed.
