It is a great route. DOT frequents the Christiansburg bypass alot. Don't be alarmed to see 10-12 officers working both the east and west bound side. Watch your speed through there, the bears stay hungry.

I have been using the OPS for over a year. It does work very well. I took Kevin's "CMC" course 2 years ago. Some of his suggestions has worked for me and some would not work for my application. He specializes in Class 8 applications and has not really experienced much with the Class 7.

If you are planning to go through the midtown tunnel headed towards ODU or the Naval Stations, that road is closed to thru trucks from 8pm until 7am. There is a truck route posted to go around it for that time period. Watch for the NO TRUCK (far left) lanes through there too. They can get expensive.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago with a Rigmaster. I replaced the factory "squeeze type" fuel hose clamps with a better clamp and didn't have that problem anymore. Also noticed that the fuel line seemed to loose its flexibility pretty quick and was flairing out at the hose clamps...

Are some of you having a problem with the Rigmaster staying primed??

I have seen some COE's in Va. that came out of Canada. I took pictures of the truck but didn't get the carrier's name.

The sensors are not 100 % accurate. I have been stopped on several occasions. They will check your height again when they stop you at the check station. If anyone is close to max height and set off the alarm, try dumping your air bags (if you have em) while you are pulling into the check...

Yes Butch, the unit is running fine. When I purchased the unit from you it had 780 hours on it. If you owned it for four months... that means that it ran for a total of 32.5 days within that four month period. I guess the hour meter on the unit (the one under the bunk) is a piece of crap too...
