by being so much more efficient it overcomes the load change.

At the pump, of course. I don't even have an EVIC.

Want to know what you're earning?

Not only am I "not fooled", a number of other Liberty CRD owners have experienced exactly the same thing. Now, I understand the energy required increases, all that. Not anything new to me. However, sometimes engine efficiency is so much greater at one load / operating range that you really...

Want to know what you're earning?

Oh, come on. Seriously? You think I'm too gullible to understand the simple miles / gallons equation? And, no, I'm not fooled. And, it is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel.

    What's an 06 sprinter worth?

Hmmm... Ok. The seller is asking 4K for it (private party, not dealer). I absolutely loathe the idea of being stuck with something from Mercedes, though. I might be better off to look out west (not rusty) for something older and lower miles.

    What's an 06 sprinter worth?

Sorry, I gave you all I had. The seller says it runs and drives fine. Dunno what that's worth. I don't believe it's anything but a van - no additions or modifications.

Want to know what you're earning?

Really, they do not. I am currently running courier work (I currently have only intrastate authority for IL), driving a Jeep Liberty CRD. I get my BEST fuel economy at 75-85 MPH. No kidding. It doesn't get any better at 65 or even 55. I get about 25-26 mpg at 75+. And 20-22 in...

    Olive Oil: for your health

You don't need THAT much olive oil. however, substituting it for as many things as you'd use an oil for, is probably good. Another oil to use is coconut oil. It must be cold processed and pure, but it is actually quite good for you. It is solid, but melts above 80 degrees or so. Another...

Want to know what you're earning?

My interest in knowing this had to do with making choices about what to do. While you can estimate, you can't make an apples to apples comparison against something that pays "by the hour". This is just a handy reference to give you some understanding of how speed and pay and per mile costs...

Want to know what you're earning?

I'm not sure what this has to do with an "employee mindset", but if it offends you, don't do it.

Want to know what you're earning?

I built a spreadsheet in excel format to calculate how much you make PER HOUR. The board does not like .xls ( spreadsheet ) files, so it has a ".txt) extension. After downloading it, rename it to .xls to get it to open in excel, libre office, or any other program that can use the ms excel...

Anyone working for Dynamex right now?

    Well, that's a decent "detail" :)

Anyone working for Dynamex right now?

I'm familiar with what you're describing. This wasn't it. I didn't say "they didn't say who they were". I said "I didn't realize until it was done". The name meant little until I searched here and found that the most recent experience was 3-4 years ago. Companies with good reputations...

Anyone working for Dynamex right now?

Ok, I get it, you have bad opinions of them. Nobody's addressing why. They now apparently do courier on demand and route work here. I responded to an ad, but never realized it was them until after it was all done.

Speed Limiters- my letter to my Congressman's

Does anyone out there have data to show that Utah, Wyoming, and Nebraska ( they allow fast moving trucks) have dramatically higher truck accident rates per mile than, say, Oregon and Washington, which have a forced speed differential? Frankly, my experience in a car is that I'm MUCH more...
