With the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas around the corner, Truckers Against Trafficking have announced their plans to debut the Freedom Drivers Project at the show with a press conference with U.S. Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas.

According to a press release, Freedom Drivers Project is a mobile exhibit that will be used to educate the trucking industry and general public about domestic sex trafficking and how the trucking community is helping fight against it. The trailer will include a theater station featuring a TAT training video. Artifacts of trafficking cases will be displayed to allow onlookers to understand the back stories of those who have fallen victim to human trafficking.

The press conference with Rep. Poe and several trucking personalities and leaders will be held at GATS at Exhibit No. 10009 on Aug. 22 at 10:15-10:45 a.m.

Truckers Against Trafficking is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “educate, equip, empower and mobilize” the truck driving industry to fight against the human trafficking that takes place on our highways and roads.
