Towne Air Freight Announces Significant New Driver Pay Increase

South Bend, IN—­­ Towne Air Freight is pleased to announce a significant pay increase for Independent Contractors, effective July 15, 2012.  Under the new plan, teams will be paid $1.05 per loaded mile and all drivers with 2008 or newer tractors, both team and solo, will enjoy a $0.03 per mile increase. Additionally, Towne is also increasing its West Coast Fuel Surcharge by $0.06 per mile.
 
These new pay increases coupled with additional features of Towne Air Freight’s Independent Contractor package such as a generous Sign On Bonus, Guaranteed Pay, Ongoing and Increasing Safety & Service Rewards, Fuel Discounts and much more are consistent with the company’s continued commitment to offer the best compensation plan and driving jobs in the industry.
