Thieves take truckload of peanuts in Mexico

Thieves hijacked a truck in Mexico recently. They ended up with a load of peanuts and jail time to show for it.

Federal police said two suspects hijacked a truck at gunpoint near Mexico City and forced the driver to the truck’s floor. Police in the area saw the truck and pulled it over as they saw “a struggle taking place in the truck’s cab,” The Associated Press reported

The driver called for help during the traffic stop.

The two suspects were arrested with no proceeds to show for their efforts.
