Since handing out the awards over the past several years, we have noticed that companies have "stepped up" their game and improved on prior years numbers.  Now that they can measure key performance indicators, they can start to manage their business better.

DETAILS of AWARDS:

Sylectus Builders Awards – Promoting the Technology to other companies
The “Sylectus Builders Awards” recognize the effort our customers take to promote our software to other companies (and even their competitors!).  They are directly responsible for building the AlliancePro subscriber base by inviting other companies into their operation to see our technology work.

AlliancePro Company of the Year - On-Time Performance
This award goes to the AlliancePro company who had the best "On Time" performance for the first 11 months (January to November) of the year.  The company must be on AlliancePro for the entire calendar year of the year and performed at least 1,200 trips during the year.   On Time measurement is calculated as the “Difference between the scheduled delivery and the actual delivery with a 15 minute grace period”.   In the calculation, there is no penalty for being early, only for being late.

AlliancePro Company of the Year – Fastest Billing Cycle
This award goes to the Alliance Pro company who had the fastest Billing turnaround for the first 11 months (January to November) of the year.  The company must be on AlliancePro for the entire calendar year and performed at least 1,200 trips during the year.  This is defined as the average difference (measured in days) between when the trip was COMPLETED to when the Invoice was PRINTED.    The faster invoicing is completed, the sooner a company can collect their money and better manage their cash flow.  This award truly recognizes excellence in the billing department.

AlliancePro Company of the Year - Highest Year-over-Year sales growth – large companies (2012 vs. 2011)
This award goes to the AlliancePro company with more than $7 million in sales who has the highest percentage increase in sales revenue between 2011 and 2012 for the first 11 months (January to November) of both years.  These were AlliancePro companies that were active on the system for both 2011 and 2012 years.

AlliancePro Company of the Year - Highest Year-over-Year sales growth – small companies (2012 vs. 2011)
This award goes to the AlliancePro company with less than $7 million in sales who has the highest percentage increase in sales revenue between 2011 and 2011 for the first 11 months (January to November) of both years.  These were AlliancePro companies that were active on the system for both 2011 and 2012 years.

AlliancePro Company of the Year - Most Loads Brokered to Alliance carriers as a Percentage of total Brokered Loads
This award goes to the AlliancePro company who brokered the most loads to other Alliance carriers (as a percentage of their total brokered loads) for the first 11 months (January to November) of the year.  The company must be on AlliancePro for the entire calendar year and broker at least 500 trips during the year.  This award truly recognizes companies that "share" their business with other companies rather than saying "no" to their customers.

AlliancePro Company of the Year - Most Loads Brokered from other companies
This award goes to the AlliancePro company who received the most brokered loads from the AlliancePro companies for the first 11 months (January to November) of the year.  This award truly recognizes AlliancePro companies that are trusted and well-respected to do a great job every time.

AllianceConnect Company of the Year - Most Loads Brokered from other companies
This award goes to the Alliance Connect company who received the most brokered loads from the AlliancePro companies for the first 11 months (January to November) of the year.  This award truly recognizes Alliance Connect companies that are trusted and well-respected to do a great job every time.

AlliancePro Company of the Year – E-mail Automation Efficiency
This award goes to the Alliance Pro company who had the highest number (percentage) of automatic email “trip event” notifications to their customers for the months of May to November of the year.  The winning company must be on AlliancePro for since May and performed at least 1,200 trips during the year.    We calculate this by the number of automatic Arrive Shipper, LOADED, Arrive Consignee and EMPTY messages emailed to customers divided by the total number of these “trip events”.

AlliancePro Company of the Year – Wireless Vehicle Automation Efficiency
This award goes to the AlliancePro company who had the highest number (percentage) of automatic event updates from their vehicles (QUALCOMM, GPSPhones, Blackberry, MacroPoint, Trimble, Teletrac) per load for the months of June to November of the year.  The winning company must be on AlliancePro for since May of the year and performed at least 1,200 trips during the year.    We calculate this by the number of automatic Arrive Shipper, LOADED, Arrive Consignee and EMPTY messages sent to dispatch divided by the total number of transaction log records created for the same trip events.

AlliancePro Company of the Year – Virtual Fleet Utilization
This award goes to the AlliancePro company who does the most Virtual Fleet loads (either brokering loads to other Virtual Fleet members or having loads brokered to them from other Virtual Fleet members).    This shows the companies who are respected for both brokering out freight AND getting freight brokered to them.

On behalf of Sylectus, I want to congratulate all the finalists and winners (as well as all the companies on our Alliance technology) that continue to make this organization of transportation companies a premier group.

A word of a caution to the winners ... I heard several people say they were going to be on the podium next year to receive your award.  This friendly competition to be recognized as "the best" of "the best" can only work to make us all stronger.

Thanks for being part of our vision.

Together, it just keeps getting better ... but the best is yet to come!
