A sister continues to search for her missing sibling 21 years after her sister disappeared.

Dr. Margaret LaManna, who has practiced medicine in Pennsylvania and Florida, said her sister, Renee LaManna, who would be 56 years old, suffers from Dissociative Fugue Disorder, a rare diagnosis that involves disruptions or breakdowns of memory, awareness, identity, or perception.

People with dissociative disorders use dissociation, a defense mechanism, pathologically and involuntarily. Dissociative disorders are primarily caused by severe psychological trauma.

Dr. LaManna is turning to the trucking community because truckers seem to be the group that her sister trusts, Dr. LaManna said.

Renee LaManna has been seen several times at trucks stops across the country since she disappeared, but no one knew she was missing and therefore no one has called authorities.

In fact, the most sighting of Renee LaManna was last Wednesday at the Pecos, Texas, Pilot Flying J location on Interstate 20 at Exit 42.

Renee LaManna is a while female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. Her hair is muddy/brown.

She has a widow's peak hairline and a keloid scar on the left elbow crease.

Dr. LaManna says Renee may not know her name or how long she has been away.

She may be using the names of Renee Leman, Renee Leeman, Darleen Hanson, Darleen Hartfield, Darleen Hatfield or Jean Smith. Or she may be using another alias.

If anyone has seen Renee LaManna, please call local authorities immediately and contact Dr. Margaret LaManna at (561) 339-2266.
