OKLAHOMA CITY — The National Transportation Safety Board plans to hold a meeting to discuss an accident on a northeastern Oklahoma turnpike that killed 10 people.

The NTSB meeting is set for Tuesday in Washington, after which a summary of the board's final report on the June 26, 2009, accident will be issued.

Donald L. Creed, 77, of Willard, Mo., pleaded guilty last month to 10 counts of negligent homicide as part of a plea deal. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 10 years of probation and barred from possessing a commercial driver's license.

Creed was driving a tractor-trailer for Associated Wholesale Grocers when the truck slammed into vehicles that had stopped for another accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Miami.

The crash killed four people from Oklahoma City; three from Frisco, Texas; one from Crossroads, Texas, and two people from Phoenix.
