New Best Practices Verification of Insurance Program launched by T.E.A.N.A.

The Expedite Association of North American (T.E.A.N.A.) has responded to 3PL/Broker's complaints of Motor Carriers supplying incorrect insurance by offering a new program designed to address the Danger of Risk Exposure.

3PL/Brokers currently face inaccurate Certificates of Liability listing coverage for the Motor Carrier that does not exist for Leased Owner Operators providing the service. This includes insurance coverage that is inadequate for Trucking for Hire operations.

3PL/ Broker's concerns of Unpaid Claims, Vicarious Liability and Negligent Entrustment Lawsuits are lessened by utilizing a uniform template for all Motor Carriers to complete when submitting their proof of insurance to the 3PL/Brokers. Click Here.  

In following this template, the 3PL/ Brokers are able to then establish a "Platinum Tier" preference of Motor Carriers. 

Motor Carriers can in turn offer their 3PL/Brokers additional peace of mind when they request T.E.A.N.A.'s Verification of Insurance, or VOI Certification. Click Here. 

Motor Carriers achieving this "VOI Platinum" designation have requested that their insurance be vetted by T.E.A.N.A. to assure 3PL/Brokers that they are the "Best of the Best" in their promise to protect the 3PL/Brokers, the Customer and the Public.

The VOI Platinum Certification Program is available at no cost to all T.E.A.N.A. Motor Carriers. 3PL/Brokers are encouraged to join T.E.A.N.A. for a complete circle of up-to date communication. T.E.A.N.A. membership leads the way for responsible Motor Carriers and 3PL/ Brokers to build valuable, ethical relationships to help protect the entire supply chain.
