Missing Arrow driver checks in with family
Hundreds of Arrow drivers were stranded when the Tulsa-based truckload carrier shuttered before Christmas. Driver John M. (“J.R.â€) Eischens of Mabank, TX, was among them. But Sgt. Jeff Caponera of the Anna, TX, police department confirmed Monday, Jan. 11, that the story has a happy ending.
The Texas truck driver hadn’t been in touch with his mother or other relatives since just before Christmas. Last week, the Eischens family was concerned enough to file a missing person’s report with the Anna Police Department.
Sgt. Caponera confirmed that Eischens called family members on Saturday after hearing about the missing person’s report. He told them he’s pursuing a new trucking job and is just fine.
Eischens’ relatives posted the good news on Facebook on Saturday after he called.
Caponera told Land Line Now that the former Arrow driver did not even know he was considered “missing.â€
