Shipshewana, Ind.-based Double Eagle Industries, which makes custom sleeper berths, has announced it will close its doors tomorrow, after 35 years in business, according to an interview with Land Line Now radio.

In an interview with Land Line Now, President Ray Miller said a large part of their business is owner-operators, who cannot afford to buy sleepers now and are only purchasing things they need.

Double Eagle introduced its first 60-inch sleeper at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., in 1976 and has been under the same management ever since, according to its website.
