Over 15 years ago, Joey Holiday had a dream to do music for truck drivers. As he worked his way through his casino contracts, he and his drummer Keith McLaughlin wrote the first of what would be several trucking songs. Joey recorded his first two trucking songs and called a trucking industry magazine to see about publicity. He reached Linda Seale of Truckin USA Magazine who asked if she could listen to his music.

Back then, he thought he would put out a single, one song on one side of the cassette, and one on the other. Linda convinced him that he needed to finish a whole album. She offered to help him when he was done with it.

Joey returned to Nashville and after several months of borrowing money and paying back loan companies, he finally had a whole album. He was so excited that he didn't call Linda; he just got in his car with the master cassette and drove back to Tuscaloosa. Unfortunately, when he arrived he discovered that the magazine was no longer there and Linda was gone.

Completely devastated, Joey didn't know which way to turn. However, he did remember Linda telling him about an all night radio station out of Chicago called The Interstate Radio Network . After returning to Nashville he contacted them, and the rest of his career was rolling with the help of John Shaller and several great sponsors.

But from time to time, he would think about Linda Seale and wonder where she was and how she was doing.

Linda said, "He's gotten better since I heard him all those years ago." She was humbled by the influence she had on Joey's life and career. Linda was happy to see that he was still doing music for truck drivers!
