History®’s Ice Road Trucker Launching Nation Wide Book Tour in World’s Largest Big Rig

ALEX DEBOGORSKI , the beloved and unpredictable star of the History® Channel’s hit series, Ice Road Truckers and IRT Deadliest Roads (premieres every Sunday, 9pm ET/ 8C through December 5) is hitting the road in his first‐ever BIG RIG TOUR across America to promote the release of his first ever book, KING OF THE ROAD: True Tales from a Legendary Ice Road Trucker! Beginning in Two Rivers, WI , on October 19th, this colossal big rig truck will take over the roads of America as it is considered one of the World’s largest tractor trailers to date. Highlighting the tour are stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, as well as appearances at the world’s premier Automotive Trade Shows, SEMA in Las Vegas and AUTORAMA in Houston, TX.


In KING OF THE ROAD , Alex shares tales of his adventures‐and misadventures‐in the north, and explains, in his own entertaining voice, how he got to where he is today‐working class hero, bona-fide celebrity, and the improbable star of a smash‐hit television show. In the History® hit series, “Ice Road Truckers,” viewers follow the heart‐pounding adventures of the tough‐as‐nails truckers who risk peril every day to deliver goods and supplies in Alaska and across Canada's frozen north and it is Alex who leads the pack! Debogorski is a natural storyteller who spins tales about his colorful life growing up in the backwoods of Yellowknife, Canada. Whether he's recounting tales about his hair‐raising confrontations with bears, calculating the strength of newly formed ice, divulging the secrets of providing security in a bar room full of combative, drunken miners, or saving the life of another trucker, he keeps readers wanting more.
