Henry Albert named new chairman of Trucking Solutions Group
Trucking Solutions Group, truckers who work to better the industry, has announced the election of its new chairman, Henry Albert of Albert Transport Inc.
Albert succeeds long-time chairman Rick Ash who was instrumental in leading the group's health initiatives benefitting the trucking industry. Among its accomplishments, the group secured mammogram screening for breast cancer at the Great American Trucking Show starting in 2015.
Ash is a founding member along with Bob and Linda Caffee and Albert. Ash will continue to be instrumental in trucking health initiatives.
The members describe themselves as follows: "We are a group of transportation professionals striving to improve our business through education, both for ourselves and others in our industry, while also projecting a positive image. The group is also used as a focus group for industry leaders on issues of concern to the trucking industry as a whole."
Albert is a Citizen Driver Award winner and a member of Team RunSmart, which helps truckers become better businessmen and women.
