Express-1 named NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year

SAINT JOSEPH, Mich. – March 24, 2010 - Express-1 Expedited Solutions, Inc. is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, its subsidiary Express-1, Inc. was named Carrier of the Year in the expedited category by NASSTRAC (National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council). Sponsored by NASSTRAC and Logistics Management magazine, the prestigious award recognizes carriers that demonstrate excellence in performance and results.
 
“Winning the NASSTRAC Expedited Carrier of The Year Award is an honor. It is especially gratifying as this award is based on the input of the shippers using a wide range of criteria”, stated Jeff Curry, President of Express-1.  “An award determined by the customer is the ultimate compliment to our team and to win in consecutive years is a great achievement.”

To achieve this top honor, Express-1 excelled in the full scope of services provided to NASSTRAC members.  Consisting of customers and potential customers including shippers and third-party logistics companies, NASSTRAC members vote on the performance of carriers they use frequently and recognize the one they feel provides the best overall service.  Categories included Customer Service, Operational Excellence, Pricing, Business Relationship and Leadership/Technology.
 
Express-1 will be recognized at the 2010 NASSTRAC Logistics Conference & Expo April 25-28th at the Buena Vista Palace in Orlando.
