The IN-SITE debut webinar panel will feature the following industry experts: Ellen Voie, President & CEO of the Women In Trucking Association, Leah Shaver, President & CEO of the National Transportation Institute, Colton Lawrence, President & CEO of Equinox Business Solutions, Jason Williams, President of Expediter Services, Jeff Tacker, the Chief Operating Officer of ES, and Nate Meyer with Stoops Freightliner.
“When you look at what’s been happening in the country and around the world, we’re obviously living through a challenging time, and trucking has once again shown the proven ability to adapt. A big part of trucking is dealing with change. We have designed our entire IN-SITE 2020 program as a way to reach out and provide helpful information to the entrepreneurs within the trucking industry,” said Jason Williams. “We want to be a resource for people who are thinking about opportunities in the trucking industry. We want people to be able to look at all the considerations and the full landscape of how the industry is changing to meet the times. IN-SITE 2020 is a program that is designed to address the reality that, no matter where we are in a given cycle, whether it’s COVID-19 or something else, there are always opportunities.”
Trucking in the COVID-19 Era: Starting & Building Your Own Trucking Business, like all the webinars in this series, will be focused on the needs of owner-operators, fleet owners and independent professional drivers who are looking to become truck owners. IN-SITE 2020 will be offered at no cost to participants.

ES has planned IN-SITE 2020 webinars for August and September as part of the overall program. The upcoming live webinar events in the series will also have topics of interest for owner-operators, fleet owners and any aspiring entrepreneurs within trucking. The topics and panelists will be announced in the near future. The IN-SITE 2020 podcast series will continue to offer new episodes with in-depth conversations on key topics and issues.
“We are looking forward to reaching out to individuals in trucking and to people who are interested in the industry to share information and to begin a conversation,” said Mr. Williams. “IN-SITE 2020 is not about selling a truck or a program. IN-SITE 2020 will be focused on what’s happening in our industry and what can be possible. When you think about it, the vast majority of the trucking industry is made up of companies with one to three trucks. In other words, trucking is made up of entrepreneurs. At ES, we believe that entrepreneurs will continue to play a significant role within the changes and the growth of the industry in the future. We hope that all those professional drivers, owner-operators, independent contractors and fleet owners interested in the business of trucking will connect with us through IN-SITE 2020.”
