In Audrain County, MO, northeast of Columbia, sheriff’s investigators say a 20-year-old man whose body was found in a tractor-trailer was a murder victim.

KMBC-TV reports he’s identified as James McNeely of Ohio.

Meanwhile, the truck’s owner – 38-year-old Chester Harvey of Laddonia, MO, and his 19-year-old son Chad are charged with abandonment of a corpse.

According to court documents, Chester Harvey told someone that he had killed a man he picked up in California.

The senior Harvey is also charged with an unrelated count of kidnapping – following a daylong hostage standoff this past week involving his wife and children.
