Women in Trucking
I have been a proud member of Women in Trucking for many years and am glad to once again say this organization will be represented during the Expo.
Please stop by booth 100 to find out more about WIT and I hope also join. The organization is open to men and women with many of our male friends being members.
A workshop will be held Friday July 22nd in the Franklin room at 3:00 p.m. with Ellen Voie and few of us drivers on the panel. The title of the workshop this year is How to be a truck driver while maintaining your status as a lady. I think we will have a lot of fun with this topic and I imagine we will disturb other workshops with our laughter.
Following the workshop there will be a reception for members of Women in Trucking as well as potential members to the organization. I have been to a few of these receptions and I hope that the famous chocolate fountain will be in attendance! There are always nice drawings, good food, as well interesting speakers.
I hope everyone men and women will take the time to attend the reception while attending the Expedite Expo.
