What’s behind your Real Wheels?

When we bought our first set of Michelin wide base singles we purchased Pressure Pro, which is an air monitoring system.   The Pressure Pro has an in cab monitoring system that we program with the air pressure we want the tires to carry.   If one of the tires slips below that set point alarms go off.   I am happy to say that the alarms have never went off, part of that is luck that we have never run over anything that could puncture the tires and close watch of the air pressure.

Once we added the Real Wheels to our truck the next question was how do you check the lug nuts?   We added a product called Zafety Lug Lock to the wheels, which keeps the lug nuts from coming loose.   This is another very inexpensive product that works very well. Most weekends will find Bob out polishing on our truck and removing the Real Wheels wheel covers and checking everything.   During the week we have peace of mind knowing that the products we have installed on the truck are doing their job.

We found the Zafety Lug Lock while attending a truck show and knew it was a product that would fit in well with what we are doing.   The Real Wheels improves our aerodynamics, which in turn improves our fuel mileage.  The Pressure Pro air monitoring system in another aide to keep us from ruining a tire.

The Real Wheels wheel covers are easy to remove and can be done quickly if an officer of the law would like us to or if it is needed.   We have been through a few Level 1 inspections and through the scales in various states and we have not been asked to remove the covers.   The day will come and removing the wheel covers will not be a problem.
