It's a Team's Life
View from home...
Home time involves a mixture of work and fun and so far we have been enjoying both. Bob has been working on the skirts for the truck and getting that project finished. He has a few other odds and ends he wanted to get accomplished while the truck is on his concrete pad at the house. More on that as I can get pictures of what he has accomplished.
While at home and the weather is nice we have a different view of the road then we usually see... A year ago we purchased an older Corvette from a family member and are in the slow process of a mild restoration. It takes nerves of steel to get out of the great view we have of the road from our Cascadia to get into the low riding view we have driving the Corvette. We go from looking over cars to looking under cars but we enjoy every minute of it.
We also have taken the time to go over to a local dirt track and enjoy an evening of races. This track is about an hour from our house and located just south of I-70 in Montgomery, MO. Bob and I have been to many races and this evening we both thought had exceptional driving with several very close finishes.
The days are ticking down fast and before we know it the
truck will be loaded up and we will be off on our next adventure!
