Use ALL existing space!

I like to use my existing space wisely in the truck!   I use the sink for storage and also to rinse my dishes.   I do not have hot water in the truck so I heat my water in the rice cooker to wash my dishes.   I use the sink basically as a drain when I rinse my dishes off.   I also use the sink to set my rice cooker down in if I am using the cooker while going down the road.   I layer the sink with my storage items.   The bottom level is a sink liner to keep “stuff” from sliding around next is my cutting boards and then so on.   I can easily lift everything out by either grabbing the cutting board or the sink liner.

I can easily find my steak knives, my hot pads, my spoons or any utensil I need in my hanging basket.   The see through containers make it very easy and quick to find what I am looking for.    I like to use the plastic shelf liner behind the sink as this keeps my bottles from moving around.   I have found one thing that irritates me is when I put to glass bottles next to each other and they rattle while going down the road.   Rattles in the truck drive me to distraction.

When the sink is not in use I keep a cutting board over the top that Bob remanufactured so that it will not slide around.   I am very limited on counter space and this little addition sure helped me out!
