We were in Albuquerque, NM at the TA and we could not have asked for a nicer weekend.   We needed a warm weekend to get the truck cleaned up and to give us a chance to get outside the truck and enjoy the sunshine.

The inside of the truck was a mess due to the snow and salt we had been in the previous week.   I was able to leave the doors open on the truck as I vacuumed and washed the floors.   I am always more at peace with myself when the truck is spic and span and everything is put away in its proper place.

Bob stopped by Freightliner and picked up a blower motor for our heater as it was making odd noises and trying to die.   He was also able to replace the heater motor while standing outside comfortably.   Bob worked on getting the truck polished on the outside while I polished on the interior.

After we got all of our chores done it was time to check out the TA gym.   The exercise room has three pieces of equipment, a TV, and sanitary wipes to wipe down the equipment with.   There was an elliptical machine, a stationary bike and some kind of leg bench.   Not sure of the leg benches purpose or how to use it.

In no time the bike and the elliptical had gave us a work out and we were breathing hard.   I am sure as more of these gyms get scattered around the country we will be in a lot better shape.

There is also an aerial view of the streets and neighborhoods surrounding the TA depicting a two-mile walking trail.   We are very impressed and excited about the changes TA has been making and the work they are doing to enable drivers to become healthier.

The one change I would like to see in the exercise room is a chart explaining each piece of equipment and how to use it.   I hope many drivers will get out of their cabs and give the exercise equipment a workout!
