We have appointments for the truck to have time at the shop for routine checkups. Bob enjoys working in his shop and as always he has his list of items he wants to work on.   Bob purchased an OPS1 at GATS and has plans of putting this on the truck.   We also have the lane departure warning system (LDWS) on the truck and he plans to permanently install the switch in the dash.   He has other small projects planned as well.

I will file all of our paperwork we have acquired while on the road and catch up with our mail.   I will also start unloaded much of our summer clothes and start adding our winter clothes back to the truck.   I always feel as if the truck is about to burst at the seams this time of year as I have winter and summer clothes in the truck.

Once the truck chores are done it will be time to enjoy ourselves which usually means having company over for game nights and to catch up with everyone’s lives.   A neighbor just had her twin girls, which we will finally get to see.   Her husband and I enjoy going to a local farm pond and fishing.

Bob also has plans on building a Corn Hole travel game for the truck which I know we will both enjoy and I am sure when other drivers see us playing we will have some great games.

This time of year it is cool and I enjoy riding our ATV through the forest on a trail I have been building for a few years. I will mow the property for the last time of the year as well.   I have high hope that our neighbor will have time to go horseback riding as we have great national forests around our area and horseback is the best way to see these.

It will not take long and the itch to see another part of the country will hit us and we will go back into service…
