The Edge
The Edge is a fledgling site and was introduced at the Louisville Truck Show. While clicking on different tabs I found that we as new Cascadia owners were eligible for an owners kit, which consisted of a locker bag, mechanics gloves, coffee mug, Maglite Flashlight, Cascadia Cap as well as an Atlas. I thumbed through the discounts and saw several that we could and will use. If you like Chrome than check out the Chrome Shop Mafia discounts.
There is a forum area, which is just getting off of the ground. I enjoyed reading through the Freightliner news and the new transmission. The Ultrashift Plus is the transmission we wanted in our truck and we struck out, not available yet in our configuration. The transmission is amazing and those that have driven a truck with the Ultrashift have raved about it.
I hope as more people find out about the site the forums will become more active. I know at times with our old truck when something odd would happen we would have appreciated a forum to ask the question to other Freightliner drivers. We have found often an intermittent problem has happened to other Freightliner drivers and they know the steps for an easy cure.
