TA/Petro SCF Kickoff

During the month of August TA/Petro will be selling St. Christopher Fund (SCF) wristbands for $1.00 or Keychains for $5.00 with 100% of monies collected going to SCF.

Employees of TA/Petro also hold competitions between the stores to see who can raise the most money for this truckers fund by holding bake sales and other ideas to raise money. In 2014 TA/Petro raised $295,843.16 and since the inception of the band it together campaign in 2010 they have raised $1.4 million. All of these donations come from drivers, customers, and the employees of TA/Petro.

"I couldn't be more grateful to TravelCenters for managing these fundraising efforts on SCF's behalf, or their customers and employees who make these donations," said Dr. Donna Kennedy, Executive Director of the SCF. "To date, the SCF has helped 1,075 professional drivers with financial assistance with utility bills, mortgage payments and other monthly bills. The generous donations – made dollar by dollar – have made it possible for us to pay out more than $700,000 to help drivers in need," she continued.
