We knew our friend Henry Albert was attending this show to talk about his truck, which he does often. We planned on hearing about the show from Henry and going about our own business. Well when he heard how close we would be after we delivered he suggested we stop by on our way to our next load and check out the show trucks.
Nice toolbox
My favorite was a chemical tanker that had what looked like a fuel tank turned into a toolbox. The truck and trailer were immaculate and I cannot imagine this truck going down dirt roads or for that matter going down any road. This guy had taken a lot of pride in this setup and it was very impressive.

We were able to meet up with several of our friends which is always fun. Jami Jones from OOIDA was one of the judges and she had time to stop and chat for a bit. I was able to snap a picture of her judging a gorgeous black truck.
We also spent time talking with Henry about the Cascadia’s and also with people who stopped by to see his truck. A few wandered over to look at our truck and to ask questions about Expediting. We always carry spare Expedite Now magazines to hand out in these situations.
We really enjoyed ourselves attending the show, seeing the amazing rigs, winning at a game of Corn Hole, learning how to drive the OOIDA NASCAR simulators and meeting new friends. We were not going to stay long, but were enjoying ourselves we ended up staying several hours.
