This year as usual we decided to stay on the road over Thanksgiving and in the past we have had loads or in some years no load on Thanksgiving Day. We have always ben able to stop for a break and enjoy a turkey dinner. The Truck Stops usually put on a very nice buffet and if we cannot be home we look forward the second best thing.
This year our plans changed and we received a straight through load with no stopping. So our best laid plans have changed and we will miss the Thanksgiving feast on the road as well.
We are looking forward to Christmas with our girls and all of the fun we will have then! Have a great and safe Thanksgiving everyone.
