Our friends, Jerry and Jen, have been asking us for several years to stop by and see them. We have not been able to be there at either the same time as them or once we were on the way and received a ASAP pickup and were not able to stop by. This time, after we unloaded, we were 15 miles from their home. We were able to watch Jen play in a tournament while Jerry explained the rules. The game was being on what used to be a tennis court where now there are two Pickleball courts. The game appeared to me to be a combination of badminton, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball and is played with paddles. They asked us if we wanted to give it a try which of course we did. We had a blast and Jerry and Jen were pretty easy on us amateurs.  We played four games and each of us ended up being on a winning team. We were able to get a drift of how to score the game, how to serve and how to return volleys. We really enjoyed getting the exercise and after cooling down for a bit we moved on to play Mexican Train before a group of us went out to dinner.  We had a great day and were even lucky enough to be pre assigned on a load for the next day!  For more information on Pickleball
