We spent several years in a Century Class Freightliner and found we had plenty of room then and have even more room now.   Back when we started we had Molly with us and then acquired my Mom’s Cocker Spaniel when my mom passed away and we all managed to fit nicely.

We learned to sleep in a twin sized bed with Molly as Molly was a little spoiled, hence her registered name “Spoiled Molly” and she did not sleep on floors.   We had a dog bed for my Mom’s Cocker Spaniel, Boots and she was perfectly happy.   The four of us had a great time in this truck seeing the country.

Now not having to haul all of our former pets belongings we have found we have even more room!     I have all of our necessities loaded and I have a few empty cubbyholes…. Now if we were going to be in this truck very long there would be no empty storage places.

One of my favorite things in the sleeper is the pullout drawer with a lid just perfect for my computer to sit on.   This drawer has room for my paperwork, pens and various odds and ends.   I am a huge fan of desks and this fits the bill perfectly for a truck everything I need from a stamp, envelope, or a pen is right there in the drawer.

We as normal do not have a TV and I have found that shelf very handy for my printer. When I am using the Rice Cooker I move the printer to the bed and have a level place to cook.

I am once again “cooking” in bed and have brought along my tablecloth to protect the bed linens.   I am relearning how to do a few tricks and we are eating a little different but over all not much.   I am still able to have fresh vegetables and fruit along with cold water, which we enjoy.   I am buying in smaller amounts and paying attention to what really needs to be cold and what does not.

Overall our initial few days have gone smoothly with only a couple whoops I forgot that…. First thing I realized I forgot was the can opener.   If there is a will there is a way and was still able to open the can and prepare a nice meal.
