Mike Ryan - Stunt Driver
Mike Ryan has fascinated me for several years as I have watched the videos of him racing up Pikes Peak in Colorado or his new adventure drifting his truck. Mike has been at several of the events we have attended but I have never had the chance to speak with him.
During GATS I made it a point to finally get to meet this legend and it happened. Due to the help of Trucker Buddy International and also the guys from Air Tab the introduction was accomplished.
Mike received a tour of our Cascadia, which he found fascinating as the sleeper and truck combination would work well for him while he is on the road touring his race truck. I enjoyed discussing my drifting cars experiences and listening to Mike talk about learning to drift a semi. In time I hope to be a passenger in his truck drifting and the ultimate thrill would be to drive his truck sideways down a track.
If any of you see Mike at a truck show or a race take the time to say Hi! as he has done some really interesting things and is a delight to talk with.
