Merry Christmas from our home!

Our immediate family will be together for a two weeks and one of those weeks we will all be together here at the house as our oldest daughter has the week off from work.   Our youngest daughter who is a captain in the Air Force is flying in and will be home for almost two weeks.  

Brandy will hit the ground running as soon as her plane arrives.   We have game night at a friend of our daughters which we will all be attending.   This is a once a month event and we feel very fortunate to have attended two of these evening.   They have found all kinds of fun and entertaining games and it is a great group of people who enjoy getting together.

We then have tickets to see a play at the Fox Theater in downtown Saint Louis and the next afternoon we plan on attending a tour of the theater.   We have been too many plays here and it will be nice to learn the history of this building as the structure is really ornate.   We are also going to a tapas restaurant in the down town area.   Bob has not been to a restaurant of this type and I think he will really enjoy the experience.

We also have a murder mystery dinner evening planned.   We have ten people invited who will arrive at the house in their prospective characters persona.   This mystery dinner the most participants that we have had and it will be interesting group.   One of the characters has to “expire” during the evening and they will end up becoming the waiter.   It should be a fun evening filled with laughs and surprises.

We also have plenty of cribbage, backgammon, pitch and pinochle games planned.   We often plan dinner around out card games.   We all enjoy talking smack and enjoy trouncing each other.   We are all equally matched at any of the games we plan and as the result there is never only one winner.
