It's a Team's Life
MATS 2012 Day 1 Tuesday
We arrived early to get the latest FedEx Custom Critical signs one our truck. We no longer have vertical signs on our back doors… We were sad to see the these signs removed as we liked the looks of the back door signs.
FedEx Custom Critical is using a shop in Louisville that
only removes and installs signs and wraps.
We where in the shop about an hour for them to remove the back door
signs and the door signs then reinstall the correct signs.
We removed the signs from our old truck and it took a full day of bloodied knuckles, cut hands, and sore muscles to remove the baked on signs. When watching the guys at the shop removed our signs we picked up several tips if we ever have to remove our signs.
We spent the afternoon visiting with friends who are at the show early and making plans for the upcoming few days. In the evening Scott Grenerth stopped by on his way to deliver a load a group of us went out for supper.
This morning is our last free time!
Starting this afternoon we are off to the
go-karts and watching the unveiling of one of the big manufactures
booths!
Henry Albert will be in the OOIDA and Detroit Diesel area in the Papa Johns parking lot so stop by and visit both booths in the evening!
The parking lot is still a little empty but as the day
progressed trucks started dribbling in and staking out their territory.
