Looking for an emergency!!!

We made it out to Utah under a nice load and then had a nice load in California, which kept us moving.   We then took a load from California to Washington, which we have not done for a long time.   After we delivered we saw how many trucks were in the area and took our layover choice of Reno, NV.

Long beautiful drive from Seattle to Reno and we enjoyed the ride.   We spent two days in Reno and did not feel as if the load offers where advantageous to us.   They were loads where we would have to wait a couple days to pickup and would put us back in California or into the northern regions of Canada.

We made the decision to chase freight and to leave Reno on our own heading west.   This is not the first time we have used this maneuver to put ourselves into a better freight lane to start a new week.   We have found this works outs better for us in the long run than sitting and waiting it out for to many days.

I always keep extra on our T-Chek card for just such an emergency, as I had to learn the hard way that if we pay cash we do not get our discounts.   Chasing freight is not something we enjoy and not something we do very often.

I am hoping once we land we will get a load quickly to recoup our losses on our dead head.
