How we relax while on the road
It seems as if our lives are so involved with trucking and our business that we often have a hard time relaxing. We are cleaning, polishing, working on blogs, conference calls, talking to trucking friends, working on paperwork, or reading publications about trucking. We enjoy our business and our business of trucking consumes and every once in awhile it is nice to just sit and enjoy what we have.
Bob likes to play Sudoku and a form of solitaire on his
I-Pad and he can play for hours.
We both
enjoy listening to books when driving and have built up an extensive library at
Audible.
Sometimes we will play games with our favorite being Yahtzee and if we have company we like to play Skip-Bo and Uno.
When I can tear myself away from my computer I like to
cross-stitch and listen to a book at the same time.
Some days this works easier then other before
something comes to mind and I remember that I need to send an email, reply to
an email or remember a call I need to make.
I have been working on my picture about a year and I figure
it will take another couple of years to finish.
Most of the pictures in our home are ones
that I have stitched over the years with my favorites being animals or
landscapes.
