This will be Henry’s third Expedite Expo and he is always has a swarm of people wanting to get in the Cascadia and ask him questions about the truck, trailer, and how he gets his phenomenal fuel mileage. While he is not an expediter he understands expediting and has many expediter friends.
We met Henry Albert a few years ago while attending a truck show and figured out we had a lot in common. Henry became involved in a few groups we were involved with and we became involved with his groups. We, I believe, have helped each other to become better at many things.
I hope while you are at the Expo you will take time to introduce yourself to Henry as he has many tips on how to get the most out of our truck and put more money back in our pocket. He has done some very creative things that did not cost a dime to his trailer that can be transferred to a straight truck, cargo van, or a semi.

I always say Henry is intimidating and of course he says he is not… I would appreciate your thoughts on this on going argument. Once you talk to Henry you will quickly find out he is not intimidating and very knowledgeable about anything related to trucking. If you really want to get him on a roll talk about racing cars as he did this for several years on dirt and asphalt.
Henry is also an alternate to the OOIDA board and he appreciates any feedback you can give him. Henry and I have ongoing debates on regulations that affect us as drivers and how we can make them work to benefit our businesses.
Another one of Henry’s favorite topics is dress for success. Henry started wearing a tie when he pulled a flat bed and does he have stories about those days! Henry has been a driver for 28 years and he has tried a little bit of everything. He has been running under his own authority for several years and has been with the Freightliner Slice of Trucker Life program for three years.

While attending the Expo I make sure and keep Henry busy with various functions and have him helping where needed. He is a good sport and we look forward to seeing him this week as well.
