Happy Thanksgiving!

We usually spend Thanksgiving with family and friends, but this year we made the choice to stay out and work.   We picked up a load on Wednesday with time to deliver on Friday in California.   When we took the load we had plenty of time to deliver and just be “solar powered” drivers.   We have run into heavy traffic and the clock is still ticking away.   We might end up having to run harder than planned.

I will miss the fun I have cooking with my daughters to prepare our traditional Thanksgiving meal.   We have fun cooking and harassing each other.    The girls are both ornery and very quick witted so the conversation is always lively and full of laughter.   When we are not cooking all of us play cards or board games.   Our favorite’s games are Pitch and Cribbage.  

We are all looking forward to Christmas as both daughters will be home and we are all ready making plans.
