Halloween Night Dangers

This year Halloween is on a Wednesday and chances are we will be running a load.   One of the scariest events I worry about is people throwing pumpkins off of over passes at the trucks running down the interstate.

This is one evening when we are very aware of all over passes and look to see if anyone is standing up above.   While we have heard many horror stories, and we have seen the remains of pumpkins beside the road we have yet to witness in person someone throwing a pumpkin at us.

When traveling off of the interstates and through small towns we drive slower then usual and watch for the little ghosts and goblins that are in costumes.   We know that the kids are much more interested in getting to the next house and saying “Trick or Treat” then they are watching for cars and trucks.
