Going home for Thanksgiving?
It is time for our scheduled check-ups and the doctors could see us the week after Thanksgiving so our schedule changed to fit the doctors. We would prefer to stay out till Christmas and spend extra time with the family but that will be cut a little short this year.
We have found staying on the road over Thanksgiving that we stay busier then we did the year we stayed out over Christmas. Many of the truck stops have a great buffet and we have found the TA/Petro really have a nice buffet with many of our favorites on the line.
We will go to our doctor’s appointments and be back on the road as soon as possible so that we can run till Christmas. Our youngest daughter in the military takes leave at this time and our oldest daughter saves some of her vacation so we have plenty of family activities planned.
We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving whether on the road or at home!
