The walk is 1.5 miles and will be inside the temperature controlled civic center.  

Meet Bob Perry, The Trucker Trainer who will be doing a warm up and cool down exercise session.  

Our main group The Trucking Solutions Group has been together for two years and we are a diversified group of drivers who get together once a week on conference calls to discuss better business practices.   We have had some really interesting speakers such as Todd Spencer of OOIDA, Mike Becket of MD Alignment, engineers from Bridgestone and Michelin, Kathy Rose from Nose Cone and many other speakers. Our chairman, Rick Ash keeps us on track and moving forward.

Scott Kinley, another member of the group came up with the idea of the health group.   Scott is our idea man and once he came up with this idea we were off and running.   We contacted Driver Health magazine and from there formed a great partnership.    We began working with them and Bob Perry to get the first walk pulled off at the Mid America Truck Show.   This event went really well, next we started working on the walk at the Las Vegas Truck Show.   Now we have moved on to the Dallas Truck Show.   We have learned something from each show and our group has become very close knit group  over this past year.  

We became The Trucking Solutions Group Health Council officially when became the driver council to HTAA.   We were officially introduced at the Mid America Truck Show.    Our group has been featured in a few magazines and individual members have been featured in several magazine.  

One of our members, Henry Albert, will be speaking at the GATS truck show.   Henry will be speaking at the Partners in Business workshop on Friday August 27th at 2:00.   Henry will be speaking on “Why should you dress for Success?” He will be giving a short talk on this subject before Kevin Rutherford finishes the rest of the workshop.

I will be recognized at the Midnight Trucking Radio Network event at D-222 Thursday August 26th at 5:45 for walking 1000 miles last year.   Bob Perry, The Trucking Trainer will be recognizing me for this accomplishment.

Our group will be in and out of the HTAA Health, Wellness and Safety Pavilion and I hope you stop by and say Hi!
