Fall is in the air!

We spend more time in our truck than we do at our house in Missouri.   It sure is nice to create a home away from home feeling in our truck.   There are curtains on the windows, a rubber backed throw run on the floor, a few wall decorations, and a nice bedspread on the bed.   One of the activities I spend more time on in the winter is crocheting, and the bed sports at least one of these blankets on the bed throughout the winter months.

The decorations on the walls are not hung on the wall, but stuck to the wall with double sided tape.   They will not come off of the wall easily and I will have to remove the glue residue when I remove these decorations.    We use rubber backed rugs, as they will not slip easily on our wood floor. The rug is also much warmer to step down onto than the wood floor is in the winter.   The sleeper is warm and welcoming when the bitter winds of winter head our way.

  

The  change from summer to fall colors changes the atmosphere of an area we spend a lot of time in.   Fall is a great time to be out on the road watching the landscape change across the United States.   We enjoy seeing all of the corn mazes in different parts of the country.   It is amazing to see the huge fields of pumpkins scattered around the countryside.   One of the things I miss being out on the road is getting to carve a pumpkin for Halloween and the smell of the pumpkin with a candle burning inside.

There are many smells and sites that make up for the lack of getting to carve a pumpkin every year.
