Espar Heater

This morning I was once again thrilled to push a button located near the head of the bed and the sleeper magically become warmer.

We like the sleeper cold at night and as long as the temperature is above freezing we do not turn on the heat.   We use a down comforter that keeps us warm until it is time to rise and shine in the morning.

When we had our rig master I would turn the heat on in the morning, which would cause the generator to start.   The generator was located under the driver’s side of the truck and was almost loud enough to wake the dead.    We of course were used to the racket, but I am sure our neighbors would have preferred not to have to listen to the noise.

Now I reach up to the head of the bed and push a button to turn on the heat to the Espar heater and wait a few minutes for the temperature to start climbing in the truck.   I do not wake Bob up by starting the heater and I do not wake our neighbors up by starting the heater.   Winter is upon us and having this heater gives us one less thing to worry about. Life is good….

Once again I would like to thank Ray Lawrence of Espar of Michigan for attending the Expedite Expo’s and demonstrating how this heater works.
