Bob worked in the box of the truck mounting our cameras and I spent my time inside putting away our belongings.   The weather was really windy and cool by the time we were ready for bed.

As usual we did not worry about heat until it was needed and that is when we realized we did not have a clue how the Espar Heater worked.   As some of you might remember I won an Espar heater last year at the Expedite Expo and we had it installed in the new truck by Bolt Custom Sleepers.

We have a digital readout for the heater and within a minute the heater had been turned on and Bob had  set the temperature.   We could hear a slight noise as the heater started and then silence.   After dealing with a Rig Master for the past six years silence is a little odd.

With a few minutes the truck had warmed up a couple of degrees and I asked Bob “Do you think the heater is really working?” I reached down near the heater vent and was amazed at the amount of heat blowing out.   While the temperature was only 50 degrees first impressions were awesome!

I believe this heater is really going to be nice come fall and winter.   I want to thank Ray Lawrence and Espar of Michigan once again for giving me the opportunity to be a winner in more ways then one.   First a chance to win the heater and then to be able to enjoy the warmth of the heater.

If you have not had a chance to see one of these stop be their booth at the Expo and you will be very impressed or check out the web site:
