EO University TIME!

This is the second in a series of workshops and we are looking forward to an educational evening.   Each time we have attended one of these events we come away with more knowledge then when we went in.

I take in my notebook and sit at the front of the room while Richard DeForest is talking about freight cycles, profitable and non-profitable loads, when the best time is to go home, and on and on.   He is a wealth of information.

John Mueller always makes us look back to when we first started expediting and what it was like to attend orientation and take that first load.   He has very good straightforward information of how to come prepared to orientation and general information about expediting.

John Lalonde talks trucks and all kinds of trucks.   He not only discusses trucks he discussed how to outfit the truck to make the most out of the equipment.   He shares a lot of interesting tips that come in handy for all sizes of expediters.

Bob and I get the fun part!   We get to talk about our involvement with Team Run Smart and how attendees can get involved to further their knowledge of the truck industry.   Next we get to talk about life as an expediter and that is the best part for us of the whole night.    It is fun to talk about real life out on the road, the good, the bad, and sometimes the ugly but in all of it we have survived and have fun sharing how others can benefit and not make the same mistakes as us.
