After being struck by a car and we saw the damage to our lift gate, to the rear of the box, to the toolboxes, to the side of the truck and door of the truck we knew it was not going to be a quick fix.   Both, Bob and I thought the same thing we are taking our pride and joy to Craftsmen Trailers in Saint Louis.

We have been doing business with Craftsmen Industries and Don since we purchased our first truck and all repairs and modifications have been top notch.   We had our lift gate and pusher axle installed by Craftsmen on our old truck.   Craftsmen has also installed our toolboxes and manufactured the custom work around our rear taillights.

When we need something manufactured or done to the box of our truck we head to Craftsmen.  Don Shortt, Service Manager for Craftsmen Trailers listens and understands what Bob is either wanted manufactured or what type of work we need done.   Bob wanted toolboxes that do not leak and Bob had the shop hang them a little different then they normally do one trailers.   Our toolboxes do not leak. When Bob wanted our rear taillights enclosed Don understood and had the boxes made and installed.   While our truck was in the shop Don was diagnosed with Leukemia and immediately hospitalized which threw a kink in the repairs. Pat Bredenkoetter, service representative stepped in to oversee our trucks repairs and figure out what all still had to be done.  Don’s life was turned upside down in a matter of minutes and I am happy to say he is responding to treatment and hoping to be back to work on a part time basis in the next few months.

When we went to pick up the truck we looked over the work carefully and we could find nothing to show there had ever been any damage.   We left our truck while we went back on the road in the Expediter Services truck and had no worries or stress that the truck repairs would be done to our exacting specifications.   This is the kind of shop worth dead heading from California to when the repairs have to be done right.
