It's a Team's Life
Clark County Shooting Park Las Vegas, NV
We had a couple free days in Las Vegas and we called the Clark County Shooting Park to see if they allowed commercial vehicles to park in their RV area. They said yes as long as we were involved with shooting. Wow what a hardship….
We parked at the shotgun range and used our daughter’s car to go up and watch a cowboy shoot. There are carts available to rent if we had wanted, as the .22 range is a pretty good hike away from the shotgun range. We then headed back down to the shotgun range to rent a gun, purchase shells, and pay for a couple of rounds of trap. We rented a nice over and under shotgun and we took turns shooting.
We had not shot at an official trap range for at least ten
years and it sure felt good to be back!
We quickly were back in the grove and shooting clay pigeons.
The Clark County Shooting Park is
exceptionally clean with friendly and helpful staff.
We witnessed them helping many first time
shooters on range safety, how to load, aim, and shoot the gun.
The cost was $20.00 per day with full electrical hooks ups
and well as a dump.
The best part was
the gun range is locked up at 7:00 in the evening and the only way in is with a
code to the gate.
One of the few times
we have parked our truck away from home and not worried about the Cascadia being hit,
stolen, or vandalized.
We really enjoyed the chance to shoot while on the road and
look forward to stopping here again.
