Criss-crossing the United States we are able to see a lot of Christmas lights and decorations.   Many people leave their Christmas lights on all night, which is nice for me since I drive the morning shift.   Some of the small towns have some really awesome Christmas Decor along their main-streets.   I personally like the Victorian look for street decorations. I favor the eclectic look for household decorations.

I bring a few of my favorite decorations for the truck that includes a Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus troll as well as a Rudolph troll.    The windows in our sleeper are big enough to handle window clings that can only be seen from the inside of the sleeper.

It is a struggle to decorate our house and I have learned to pace my time and only put up the decorations I enjoy, as I will be taking them back down in a week.    This year our youngest daughter will not be home for Christmas as she is still stationed in the Middle East.

The Christmas Spirit is alive and well in many places and when we have to go through a tollbooth it is much nicer if the booth is decorated and has a cheerful attendant.   Often in the early mornings I turn our radio to a Christmas music channel and listen to the traditional songs.   It is special when the moon and stars are out reflecting on snow that IS NOT on the roadway.
